Training from Fèisean nan Gàidheal

Fèisean nan Gàidheal supports a training plan for staff, tutors, organisers and volunteers. This plan, consisting of a range of one or two day courses, or longer courses provided by external agencies for which financial assistance is available, encourages continuing professional development and assists the professionalisation of a largely voluntary workforce throughout its membership.

Gaelic Classes 2012-13
Fèisean nan Gàidheal, with financial assistance from Bòrd na Gàidhlig, is opening its in-house staff Gaelic development classes to employees of other Gaelic organisations.

These classes will cost £30 per day to those from outwith the Fèisean, and this will include tea, coffee and lunch.

The following classes will run this year:

14 March 2013 @ 10.30am to 3.30pm in Portree
Level: Intermediate, Fluent

Training for Tutors

Two-day course for fèis tutors

Teaching techniques. child protection and practical skills at 3 levels 

Where: Sabhal Mòr Ostaig

When: 23/24 February 2013

Time: Saturday 10.30am - Sunday  4pm (including Saturday night accommodation)

Prìs: £70 all inclusive.
