Yokie Tonsils

The word "yokie" means itchy, and it is a phrase used in the doric language to describe somebody who likes to sing at any time. This lovely collection was put together by Lilian Ross, who teaches song in schools for Fèisean nan Gàidheal. Teachers wanted Lilian to leave them words and tunes, but she didn't have much written down - as she said "I'll leave ye m'heid". At long last, she wrote down some of the songs and games on paper, and that is how "Yokie Tonsils" came to be. A CD is included.
