Chaidh Fèis na h-Òige a stèidheachadh ann an 1992 gus cothrom a thoirt do dh' òigridh na Gàidhlig sgilean ionnsachadh agus a leasachadh ann an ceòl traidiseanta, seinn, dannsadh agus ciùird. Faodaidh clann le Gàidhlig eadar 8 agus 18 a dhol ann. Tha an Fhèis Bheag ann do chlann bhun-sgoile fo 8 bliadhna de dh'aois.

Fèis na h-Oige was launched in 1992 to give Gaelic speaking children the opportunity to learn and develop skills in traditional music, song, dance and crafts.  The Feis is open to Gaelic speakers between the ages of 8 and 18, and there is a "Fèis Bheag", for primary school children under 8.

Faodaidh clann com-pàirt a ghabhail ann an iomadh cuspair traidiseanta aig an Fhèis, ge bith dè an eòlas aca. Tha an teagasg air fad tro mheadhan na Gàidhlig. Thèid fàilte a chur air a h-uile ìre de dh' eòlas bho fhìor luchd-tòiseachaidh gu luchd-ciùil adhartach. Ged a tha ionnsramaidean againn, bu chòir do chlann an fheadhainn aca fhèin a thoirt leotha ma ghabhas sin a dhèanamh.

At the Fèis, children can take part in various traditional subjects, regardless of experience. All tuition is carried out through the medium of Gaelic.  Applications are welcome from complete beginners to competent musicians and classes are arranged accordingly. Instruments are provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they can.
