Senior Fèis
More than 175 teenagers attended our annual Senior Fèis in Ullapool. This year in addition to teenagers from Ross-shire, we were able to welcome participants from Uist, Arran, Skye, Inverness, Grantown on Spey and Kingussie.
As a development for this year, an exciting new range of evening activities were offered and included classes in fiddle accompaniment for the Highland bagpipes, instrumental accompaniment for Gaelic song, choreographed step and Highland dance, flute, songwriting and horror make-up! We hope to incorporate some of these into next year's full programme.
Sixteen of our sixth year participants spent their last Senior Fèis with us this year. We are all sorry to see them go but hopeful that they will continue to enjoy traditional music and all it has to offer. They leave with our very best wishes and a warm welcome should they wish to join us at our Adult Fèis in the coming years!
