5 Latha 2022: 4-9 April

5 Latha 2022 will be held between 5-9 April at the Geàrrannan Blackhouses, Isle of Lewis. This event is open to Gaelic speaking high-school pupils giving the opportunity to participants to experience life in a Gaelic speaking community.

Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a number of activities in the community including; crofting, Harris Tweed, cooking, seatrek, local heriatge and much more!

Although there is no requirement for participants to have a music ability we are pleased to offer music and song lessons with some of the finest Gaelic artists. This year we are pleased to have Seonaidh MacIntyre and Ian Smith. (Trail West) leading music workshops and we also have Ellen MacDonald (Sian/Daimh) giving Gaelic song workshops.

The event costs £100, with support available to low-income families, and there are only 16 places available. Fill in an application here
