5 Latha 2023: 3-8 April

5 Latha 2023 will be held between 3-8 April at the Geàrrannan Blackhouses, Isle of Lewis. This event is open to Gaelic speaking high-school pupils giving the opportunity to participants to experience life in a Gaelic speaking community.

Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a number of activities in the community including; crofting, Harris Tweed, cooking, seatrek, local heriatge and much more!

Although there is no requirement for participants to have a music ability we are pleased to offer music and song lessons with some of the finest Gaelic artists. We are delighted to have Iain MacMaster leading music workshops and we also have Ellen MacDonald (Sian/Daimh) giving Gaelic song workshops.

The event costs £130, with support available to low-income families, this covers ferry travel (if required), food and all actitivies for the week.  There are only 16 places available.
