Fèis Dhùn Èideann runs a busy year round programme of Saturday music, song and dance classes in Edinburgh during school term-time and are currently taking bookings for their summer term this May and June.
From 2nd May to 20th June Fèis Dhùn Èideann will run traditional music, singing and dancing classes on Saturdays from 12.45 to 3.45pm in Tollcross Community Centre, Edinburgh.
A wide range of subjects are on offer including singing, clàrsach, fiddle, accordion, step-dancing, chanter and pipes, guitar and groupwork. Classes are offered at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and are open to primary and secondary school pupils aged 8 and older. Younger children from p2 upwards are welcome to take part in the singing and clarsach classes.
Classes are taught in groups and last approximately one hour. There are seven weeks in the summer term and classes cost just £6.50 per child.
