Fèis Chataibh Summer Week open for registration

Fèis Chataibh are pleased to announce that registration for the annual Fèis Chataibh summer week – taking place this year from Monday 4th to Friday 8th July in Golspie, Sutherland – is now open.

 

Fèis Chataibh have held an annual summer fèis in Golspie for over 25 years, each year offering a wealth of traditional music, art and drama workshop opportunities for young people in the area.

 

This year is no exception and Fèis Chataibh are pleased to welcome a top class team of tutors to Golspie, including Gordon Gunn (fiddle), Mhairi MacKinnon (fiddle), Addie Harper (accordion), Heather Shelley (keyboard), Freya Thomson (clarsach), Bob Massie (guitar) and Carrie Forbes (Gaelic song).

 

The fèis week is suitable for young people aged 8 to 18 with all levels of ability catered for and welcomed. The fèis costs £90 for five days of tuition with discounts available where more than one family member is attending.
