Following a successful application to the Tasgadh: Small Grants for Traditional Arts fund Fèis Ghallaibh are delighted to offer two days of dancing workshops in Thurso this summer.
Fèis Ghallaibh is pleased to welcome Lorraine Bremner as guest tutor for the workshops, running on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th July in Thurso High School from 10am to 1.30pm.
The workshops are suitable for ages 5 and above and cost only £2 per day, and participants can choose to attend one or both days.
Fèis Ghallaibh treasurer Alice MacDonald said,
“We’re delighted to have received Tasgadh funding in support of this new dancing tuition event for young people in Caithness, and we’re especially pleased to offer an opportunity like this over the school summer holidays. Lorraine is an expert and experienced dance tutor – our participants will undoubtedly have a lot of fun as well as developing new dancing skills’.
