Gaelic Drama Summer School Appeals to Wider Audience

Fèisean nan Gàidheal’s Gaelic Drama Summer School hopes to encourage more Gaelic-speaking teenagers to participate by giving applicants the choice to apply for a place for the first 6 days or the full 12 days.

This is the tenth year of the residential school which will take place in Portree between Monday 3rd and Saturday 15th of July. Gaelic speaking teenagers aged between 13 and 18 at the time of the School are welcome to apply.

The Gaelic Drama Summer School provides an excellent platform for teenagers with Gaelic interested in developing acting skills for stage and screen. Participants will receive tuition in a wide variety of drama skills in a fun environment.

Two Options

The decision to change the format of the School was made following a review carried out earlier this year which identified a number of potential participants interested in attending but unable to commit to the full 12 days.
