Fèisean nan Gàidheal was a partner in this international project. A conference, gathering and celebration of arts & culture took place at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig in Skye between 26 and 28 June 2013. With contributors from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Galicia, Faroe Islands, The Basque Country and Fryslan, Tional provided an opportunity for us all to come together, and find more effective and fruitful ways of working together in the future. Many projects have ensued from that gathering.

Since Celtic Neighbours came to an end, Fèisean nan Gàidheal staff have taken part in gatherings organised by Ealaín na Gaeltachta, the latest being Ceangal (programme on the right-hand side of the page) in which some young Fèis musicians also featured. It is hoped more collaboration will follow between countries in which the preservation and development of a minority language is important.
