We need your help!
Fèisean nan Gàidheal is currently considering piloting a National Fèis Traditional Music Ensemble along the lines of the National Youth Pipe Band, the National Youth Choir of Scotland and the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland.
We would hope intermediate and advanced instrumentalists and Gaelic singers from across Scotland would like to be involved. We would expect preparatory sessions to be organised during the year, led by professional tutors, with all expenses reimbursed to participants. We would envisage the ensemble appearing at a couple of music festivals, with a fee payable for such events.
Despite the foregoing description, we have no set idea as to how this should work and we’d like your thoughts to better shape the proposal. We would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to respond to this questionnaire.
