Fèis Phàislig is now open for registration for this year’s summer fèis, running from Tuesday 19th to Friday 22nd July 2016 in Paisley.
This is Fèis Phàislig’s second summer fèis and after a hugely successful event in 2015 the committee have expanded the range of options available to participant this year with ten options to choose from. Each participant will choose three subjects from: fiddle, accordion, guitar, clarsach, pipes & chanter, drama, singing, drumming, tin whistle and ukelele.
Fèis Phàislig have assembled a top tutor team who can be heard in action at the tutor cèilidh on Thursday evening, and participants themselves will have the chance to take to the stage and display their new skills at the fèis concert on Friday afternoon.
The fèis week is suitable for young people aged 8 to 18 with all levels of ability catered for and welcomed. The fèis costs £65 for four days of tuition with discounts available where more than one family member is attending.
