Project:

Sea Shanty Festivals are a staple part of the summer for the aficionados of sea shanties and tourists alike in sea ports the length of Britain and the continent.

Brief:

In 2019, following the first, and extremely successful Scottish Shanty event ‘The Glasgow Shanty Day’, we were keen to capitalise on that interest and arranged to have a similar event live shanty event in Oban.

Outcome:

Tasgadh contributions were used to fund a number of workshops throughout the Festival. Which were attended by a total of 73 participants, an example of one of the workshops is below.
