5 Latha nan Oileanach

The first 5 Latha nan Oileanach will be held between 5-10 June at the Gearrannan Blackhouses, Isle of Lewis.

The event will be open to students who are at least 18 years old and who are fluent, or advanced, Gaelic speakers. Participants will have the opportunity to use and develop their language skills by taking part in a number of activities and workshops including crofting, Harris Tweed weaving, cooking, peat-cutting, Gaelic classes and more!

Though participants do not need any musical ability to attend 5 Latha nan Oileanach, there will be an opportunity to take part in music and Gaelic song workshops.

The cost of a place is £100 and covers all accommodation, meals, activities and travel. Application forms are available below and must be completed by 5pm on Friday 19 May. There are only 12 places available which will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.
