fèis nan òran – gaelic song weekend in inverness

Fèisean nan Gàidheal is delighted to announce a Gaelic song weekend in Inverness this September.

‘Fèis nan Òran’ will run from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September 2015 and is open to young people aged 16 to 24 who are interested in Gaelic song. A range of song workshops are on offer, led by two highly respected Gaelic singers – Mairi Smith and Mairi MacInnes.

In addition Fèis nan Òran participants will also have the opportunity to attend events taking place as part of the renowned Blas festival, an annual music festival taking place all across the Highlands from 4th to 12th September.

Fèis nan Òran is free to attend but participants must register first. Accommodation, meals and assistance with travel costs will also be provided. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis: please apply online here.
