Guth na nGael 2017
Guth nan Gael
With support from Colmcille, a fund managed by Bòrd na Gàidhlig, Fèisean nan Gàidheal is delighted to announce that the cultural exchange with the Oriel Centre in Dundalk, Ireland will again take place in 2017, building on the success of previous exhanges between the two organisations.
This summer, we’re looking for six young musicians and singers, aged 12-18 and fluent in Scottish Gaelic to join six Irish speaking young musicians for a week of cultural and language events in Lochaber.
There will be language, song and music workshops, cultural visits and the chance to perform together, led by talented musicians and tradition bearers, with the aim of strengthening the language and cultural ties between the two countries.
